The HBOS GI IT team is responsible for the delivery of all IT systems and services into the GI business and for helping to achieve growth plans through the use of innovative technology solutions. Key functions include the support and maintenance of all core production systems, the delivery of all change initiatives and strategic planning.
Our systems are built upon a variety of platforms using a variety of tools and cover the full range from E-Commerce, Telephony, Workflow and Imaging, MI and generic Messaging Components through to our primary Mainframe and Midrange Insurance Product systems.
In addition to serving the business needs of HBOS GI, we have interfaces with all of the other HBOS IT teams and we manage a number of key accounts with external customers. The team's success is based upon a really strong understanding of the business, allied with excellent technical skills and a passion for success.
